The American Dream...for Canadians

So this commercial (starting at 1:14 in the clip above) for the Property Brothers bugs me whenever I see it because it talks about the American Dream. And Property Brothers is a Canadian show. Can Americans no longer afford the American Dream? No duh:

I did some research to make sure I wasn't confusing Property Brothers with Holmes Inspection, For Rent, Property Virgins, and Income Property starring the hot Canadian ["hot Canadian" is also a sex move involving maple syrup and a curling broom], and the Property Brothers have an office in Vancouver, but they also have one Las Vegas. Ironically, or appropriately, depending on how you look at it, Nevada has the country's highest foreclosure rate. So is HGTV helping to usher in America's distopian, American Dream-less future? No duh.
